In some parts of the CBD, on weekends, it can be a bit of a ghost town, especially early on a Sunday. Many breakfast spots are not open on weekends, so in search of a good solid breakfast, I found myself at a new place on Collins Street. It's tucked away behind the Oaks on Collins Serviced Apartments in a small food court.



At the time ,I was there it was the only place open in the little food court.

I ordered their big breakfast, which was generous and came with lashings of bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomato, sausage and beans. The sausages were a little disappointing, but the rest was hearty and filling.

The owners, a Cambodian family, were super friendly and welcoming and it's quite a comfortable, relaxing spot to stop in for a weekend. So, if you want a nice friendly and relaxing breakfast spot at the Southern Cross end of Collins Street, give S&P a shot.
