I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

Miso for me and you
After a morning at the beach or tackling the Bondi to Clovelly coastal walk drop in here for well priced, fresh, flavourful Japanese food.
Take a seat in the window overlooking the southern end of Bondi beach and enjoy the fresh air and sea breezes. The menu is quite extensive but we find the lunch specials are more than enough to fill us. The miso soup is well seasoned and surprisingly enjoyable on a hot day.
On the occasions we have visited the seafood has always been fresh and delicious and the teriyaki chicken succulent and juicy. The service is laid back and friendly and the ambience has a pleasant buzz, the patrons being a mix of families and couples, mostly with sandy feet.
The dishes being served to the other customers looked great and we did suffer a bit of meal envy. Soy is a great place for a quick lunch break, they turnover the tables quickly but you are welcome to linger and no one rushes you.
