The Southern Highlands is a region synonymous with fresh produce and wineries, placing it on the list of gourmet food and wine destinations within an easy drive from Sydney. With the Annual Southern Highlands Food and Wine Festival fast approaching and following record crowds last year, 2017 promises to be bigger and even better with a whole weekend of food and wine related activities.

Held in the heart of beautiful Bowral at the picturesque Corbett Gardens, get ready for even more entertainment, pop-up restaurants, food and wine tastings, cooking classes and this year, Justine Schofield from Everyday Gourmet on Channel Ten and a contestant from the first series of Masterchef, will be the festival's masterclass chef, hosting cooking demonstrations and book signings each day at this year's Festival.

Bowral is on the train line making it even easier to get there and enjoy all the festival has to offer, or why not head down for the weekend, but be quick to book your accommodation as it is selling out fast.
