Every Thursday morning, recommencing on February 4th, there is an activity in our beautiful Southbank parklands. And even better – all are free. Activities and workshops are designed for children under school age (5 years and younger) and are held in various venues and parkland around Southbank from 9am – 1pm.
Queensland Ballet hold a Twinkletoes workshop in March as part of the Little Days Out at Southbank
The workshops help little ones develop gross motor skills through lessons in rugby, soccer, or dance and their fine motor skills through the varied craft workshops. All activities engage imagination, movement and creativity – something young children are so good at and enjoy so much.
The program kicks off with Boppin' Babies on 4th February, which is a fun, music-based program for children of all pre-school ages, to make music, explore musical instruments, sing along, dance and perhaps even learn some new songs.

There's no need to book or register your interest and all activities and workshops are completely free. Participation throughout the whole morning is not required – you can come and go as you please and as suits your little ones. All you have to do is grab the kids and head along for your Little Days Out
