Enjoy your food from farm to fork
The inaugural Southbank Farmers' Market will open on Saturday 2nd August and it's poised for success with more than forty local food producers confirmed to attend the market, along with cooking demonstrations, live music and prizes to be won.
The first farmer's market will kick off on Saturday, Aug 2.
The Southbank Farmers' Market at Boyd Community Hub will provide access to farm fresh, local produce to those living and working in and around the Southbank area.
Cooking demonstrations by Nic Poelaert of Brooks Restaurant will take place at 9am and 11am. Shoppers will also have the opportunity to win dinner for two at Brooks.
Live music at the market launch will be provided by gypsy/bluegrass quartet The Scrimshaw Four and Nuevo Flamenco guitarist Nadav Tabak.
The market is set to be held from 8am - 1pm on the 1st Saturday of each month with the very first market day to open on Saturday 2nd August. The market will be held at Boyd Community Hub, 207 City Road, Southbank 3006
