[SECTION]2017 MARKET CALENDAR[/SECTION]
There are many markets which take place in large and smaller country towns in the South West of Western Australia, and many of these have items that are not available in the City.



There are a lot of hand made goods, home grown foods, second hand goods, pot plants, and heaps more, so if you are in the area, why not note down some of these dates!



And you can make a weekend away out of going to these markets!

[SECTION]CALENDAR OF MARKETS FOR FEBRUARY[/SECTION]
[b]*Collie Country Markets[/b]
These markets will be held on 4th February from 8.00 am - 12.00 pm, and entry is free.



They will be held at Wallsend Grounds, Bridge St, Collie, and they will have many stalls displaying a large range of craft, antiques, books, games, preserves, plants, fresh produce.



Proceeds from these markets assist the Collie Agricultural Society.

[b]*Bunbury Markets[/b]
These will be held on the 4th February, 2017 from 8 am to 1 pm, and entry is free.

They will be held at Queens Gardens, Cobblestone St, Bunbury and are held in a family friendly park environment overlooking the water and a children's play area.



Stalls include fresh produce, food and artisan items of a high quality, and the family-friendly atmosphere will be enhanced by regular entertainment.



There will also be fundraising opportunities for local organisations.

[b]*Bridgetown River Park Markets[/b]
These will be held on Sunday 5th February, from 7 am to 12 noon, and entry is free.



They will be held at Bridgetown River Park, South Western Hwy, Bridgetown, and there will be a good mix of stallholders.



There will be a wonderful mix of fresh fruit and vegetables, locally-made produce, clothing, jewellery and collectables, as well as car boot sales offering much more.

[SECTION]Gateway Markets Manjimup[/SECTION]
These are held on Sunday, 5th February, from 7 am to 12 noon, and entry is free.



They are held at the Gateway Hotel, Lot 1 Case Street, and there is fresh food, local crafts, home made condiments, plants, locally-made clothing, jewellery and collectables. There is also a car boot sale offering all and sundry.



The markets form an adjunct to the Gateway Hotel's offerings, helping to boost tourism in the region.

[b]Margaret River Farmers Market[/b]
This market is held on Saturday, 4th February, 2017 from 8 am to 12 noon, and entry is free.



It is held at 272 Bussell Highway, Margaret River, and these Markets have been a feature of the region for over 14 years, providing access to fresh local produce for both residents and visitors. Here, there are about 50 stalls, selling everything from fruit and vegetables to meats, eggs, cheeses, baked goods, drinks, nougat and chocolate.



There is a huge range of fresh local seasonal vegetables; fruit; dairy products including cow and goat cheeses, milk; meat including lamb, beef, goat and pork; eggs; nuts; honey; handmade breads and baked goods; jams; syrups; confectionery; tarts; vinegar; extra virgin olive oil and wine.

[b]Manjimup Farmers Market[/b]
These markets will be held on Saturday, 4th February, 2017 from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm, and entry is free.



They will be held in an all-weather marquee in Manjin Park, Manjimup, and you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, and value added products of the region while indulging in a fresh cake and coffee with friends.



[SECTION]Nannup Markets[/SECTION]
The Nannup Markets will be on Saturday, 11th February from 8 am to 12 noon, and entry is free.

They will be held at All Saints Anglican Church grounds, Adam St, Nannup.



There will be a great mix of stallholders, with food and crafts, clothing, jewellery, collectables and car boot sales featuring many other things.



Stalls for this are available at $5 per stall for people wanting to sell their wares.

[b]*Capel Twilight Markets[/b]
The Capel Twilight Markets will be on Saturday, 11th February, from 4 pm to 8 pm, and entry is free.



They will be held at Capel Country Club, 11 Goodwood Rd, Capel and there will be lots of local stalls, handmade crafts, candles, fruit and vegetables, olive oil, honey and much more - there will be something for everyone at these markets.



AND FOR THE KIDS: There is a Bouncy Castle and pony rides plus other FREE activities. Leave the kids on the castle while you wander around and take the stress out of your afternoon!

  • [b]Donnybrook Station Markets[/b]
  • These markets will be held on Saturday, 18th February, 2017 from 9 am to 1 pm, and entry is free.



    They will be held at Donnybrook Visitors Centre, S Western Hwy, Donnybrook.



    Come and enjoy local fruit and vegetables, eggs, jams, handicraft and much more! You will be able to sample award winning sausages at the sausage sizzle while enjoying the atmosphere of the marketplace!

    [SECTION]Augusta Community Markets[/SECTION]
    These markets will be on Sunday, 19th February, 2017 from 8 am to 12 noon, and entry is free.

    They will be held at Blackwood Ave, Augusta and are located in the main street. There is a always a quirky mix of farmers and community markets, giving you the chance to talk to the producers and find out where your food actually comes from. You could also pick up a present, a book or piece of local artwork.



    Here you can find a great range of wood work, delicious jams, relishes, pickles, cakes and more. Gorgeous hand made woollen products, beautiful photography, fresh produce, second hand goods and jewellery.



    [b]Lions Club of Dunsborough Markets[/b]
    This market will be held on Saturday, 25th February, 2017 and will run from 8 am to 2 pm, and entry is free.



    It will be held at the Lions Park, Dunsborough and vendors will be selling everything from hand-made arts and craft to organic produce.



    There will be a variety of delicious food for sale, and the Summer Market is also a family fun day with heaps of activities for children of all ages to enjoy.

    [b]*Boyanup & Districts Farmer's Market[/b]
    This Market is on Sunday, 26th February, 2017 and goes from 8 am to 12 noon, and entry is free.

    It is on at Memorial Park, South Western Hwy, Boyanup, and has on offer some of the fantastic locally grown produce such as fruit, vegetables, beef, lamb, and seafood. The markets also have gourmet cheeses, chocolates, cakes, relishes, olive oil, honey, jams, bread, patisseries, Italian biscuits, wine and cider, dog treats, and nuts.



    For the gardeners, there are plants, pea straw, sheep poo, rabbit poo, worm wee, and wooden garden art as well as some soy candles, handmade natural soaps, and olive oil skin products.



    Children are covered as well with the playground and bouncy castle right amongst the festivities, so Mum and Dad can enjoy wandering around knowing the children are in a safe environment.
    [SECTION]Dates for March and April 2017[/SECTION]
    Most of the markets are on every 2 to 4 weeks, and the following is a list of dates for all the South West markets for March and April.
