Are you an experienced busker or just love to entertain? Come throw down your hat at the South Gippsland Buskers Festival for your chance to win $1,000.

On Saturday 1st November 2014, the Coal Creek Historical Village is opening its doors to performers of every age and variety and offering prize money to those who delight the crowd the best.

For a $10 entry fee buskers can choose their location and perform their hearts out. Running from 11.00am to 2.00pm, the very best performers will be chosen by disguised judges to perform in a "Busk off" at 4.00pm.

The winner will receive $1,000 in prize money. Second place $500 and third $250.

General entry to Coal Creek is free and everyone is welcome to come see the talent perform and have a walk around the living historical museum. Experience first hand what life would have been like in a real coalmining town between 1870 to 1920.

Download the application form from the Coal Creek Village website or call 5655 1811 for more information.
