South East Shuttle Service to Tullamarine

I recently had to get to Tullamarine airport for a one way flight. I didn't want to leave my car at an airport parking service as I wasn't coming home through the city. As I live in the outer South East suburbs that would have been really inconvenient

Being a weekday, my family and friends were all working or on travels of their own. I had a few choices but the Dandy Shuttle was not one of them, the train/skybus option would have me joining the morning peak hour rush. And a taxi would be extremely expensive

By chance a few weeks before a friend had mentioned that he often used a service that picked him up from his home in Officer, was reliable and affordable. I didn't think I would need it but now I needed more information

South East Shuttle Service is the company, owned and operated by an enterprising young man called LJ. I only got around to ringing the day before my flight and was very fortunate he could still schedule my pick up



He started the business on his own just over three years ago with one vehicle and a really good idea. He is passionate about providing an efficient and reliable service and now has three other drivers with plans on expanding his fleet. He assured me he would rather decline a fare rather than have a disgruntled client. I questioned him about a negative online review I had read. He was of course disappointed and does his best to atone for times when the best laid plans go awry. He has many more customers happy with his service but sometimes traffic and vehicles are unpredictable. Airlines can be unpredictable. Some clients are, you guessed it... unpredictable.

My experience was completely hassle free. He was a smidge early. He got out to open the door and load luggage. The van was clean and smelt of pleasant car air freshener. We picked up one other person along the way (mostly suburbs beside the Monash Fwy at the moment) and we arrived at the airport before his estimated time. His driving was safe and I felt at ease for the whole journey

I would definitely use this shuttle service again and was driven to write this because I felt he delivered.
