Head down to Kingaroy on March 11 for the annual
South Burnett Wine & Food In The Park Festival and sample wines and foods from the region and enjoy fantastic entertainment.
Famous for its Kingaroy peanuts the South Burnett region has been flourishing as a wine and food destination and in 2001 was declared one of Queensland's official wine regions. In 2003, it became Queensland's largest grape crush region, easily outstripping all other Queensland wine regions. The South Burnett Wine & Food In The Park Festival is a showcase for the South Burnett's wineries.
The Festival, in its 18th year, promises to continue to feature a large line-up of live entertainment throughout the day and into the evening.
This year's Festival will have:
Samples of great wines from the South Burnett's multi-award winning wineries.
Eight hours of non-stop of live music from some of Australia's top music acts.
Fantastic street entertainers.
A wide variety of foods available on-site.
The South Burnett Wine & Food In The Park Festival will be held at Memorial Park, from 12:00 noon to 8:30pm on Saturday 11th March 2017.
Entry to Wine & Food In The Park 2017 is $20 if you're over 18 and completely free if you're under 18 (over-18s get a special wristband that allows them to make bar purchases).
Visit the
event website for the complete entertainment schedule and details of how to make it a complete weekend staying in the South Burnett region. Make time to get your supplies from the
