Whether you are a local of Fremantle or a tourist stopping by, is a popular place to go for a splash, lie on the beach or walk the dog. This beach caters for both us and man's best friend as half of it is a designated dog beach.



The dog beach can actually be more tranquil compared to the human side, so a good place to escape with your book from the families in peek time. There are doggie bags available at the entrances to the beach, so no excuses for not clearing up after your pooch dog owners.



is easily reached, with ample parking spaces and it is also stop 11 on the Blue Cat bus route (which is free). Cafe , a rustic food hub is situated on the beach front which sells a range of food from hot chips to club sandwiches and ice cream. However when it gets busy be prepared for a long wait.

With summer on its way get the bathers out and check out your local beach! However if you are looking for a surf you might want to head a little further north and head to Leighton beach.
