People of all ages can visit the South Australian Museum and experience the wonders that it has to offer them for themselves. There are plenty of interesting displays for the locals and tourists to appreciate whenever they wish.

If you are not interested in dinosaurs you can view the glistening Ancient Egyptian artefacts or wander past bears and other animals that roamed the earth. There are often special displays for children to teach them about a world that they could not even begin to imagine.

There are temporary exhibitions which allow people to appreciate the latest archeological discoveries as well as those that have been tucked away from the public. Tourists can have a memorable cultural experience as they go on guided tours or listen to a taped version of it as they gaze at the objects before them.

The museum shop has all sorts of interesting books and objects for you to buy if you wish to do so. There is always something new for people to learn about which prevents them from getting bored. The museum is the ideal place to go if you are looking for something to do during your lunch break after a busy day at work. The displays are small; however, they manage to provide people with a tantalising taste of the city's history despite its size.

The museum is located in the heart of the city centre which makes it easy to visit if you are looking for something to do on the weekend or during the school holidays. If you require more information you can visit the website for a fun day out.
