Following on from the updated COVID-19 restrictions that came into effect recently, South Australia is now entering a seven-day lockdown as of 6pm Tuesday the 20th of July 2021. The intention of this lockdown is to stop the spread of the virus within our state.
We are advised to stay at home unless we need to leave for essential reasons such as undertaking essential work, shopping for essential goods, obtaining medical care, caregiving and exercising. When leaving home, we will be required to wear face masks.
More information about these highest level five restrictions can be found on the SA Government COVID-19 website. An additional number of exposure locations have also been identified, so please visit SA Health website for the full list. COVID-19 does not have legs, so we can play our part in stopping the spread by staying at home.
