A cultural event that celebrates all things South African, head to the South African Heritage Weekend on Friday 24 Sep 6pm to Saturday 25 Sep 9pm at The Entrance Lake House, 27 The Entrance Road, The Entrance. Register here to attend this FREE event.

All South Africans are called upon to celebrate their culture and the joys of everything special that made being South African great. Bring your Aussie mates and introduce them to what might be very foreign to them like Melktart, Bobotie, Biltong, koeksisters and Castle Lager. Pinotage and Buiten Blanc will be ready to be served with your South African meal of choice while you unwind to Mshoza, Miriam Makeba and Johnny Clegg with friends. From Boerwors to Bunny chows, Windhoek to Klipdrift, ProNutro to Pap, they are scouring the products, brands and food you loved as a kid.

The Entrance Lake House kitchen will serve a South African menu all Friday and Saturday ( book here ), with a dedicated South African Flea Market on Saturday from 9am to 5pm with Live Music.
