Toowoomba is a town with a thriving food and coffee culture, often compared to Melbourne with its street art, festivals and cafes. Another movement growing in popularity is the cleaner food or wholefoods movement.



The Source is located on Ruthven Street, next door to the Spotted Cow pub. Similar to the Naked Foods franchise in Brisbane, the shop specialises in clean food, healthier snacks, and environmentally friendly makeup, skincare and household cleaning products.

The shop is beautiful, air-conditioned and spacious, with row upon row of lovely foods. With something for every taste, it's nice to spend some time exploring different options before buying.



I purchased some fresh almonds, nougat and lovely dark chocolate Turkish delight. The staff were up for a chat and super helpful. It was lovely and refreshing.

With affordable pricing and no plastic bags, it's a great place to shop for anyone who wants to try something different and avoid the big supermarket waste issue. Very lovely store.
