Calling all Gen X-ers - stay warm this winter and show off your retro cred with Limes Tuesday Night Rooftop .

Limes Hotel, in Fortitude Valley, provides entertainment and warm bowls of soup every Tuesday night, but what makes this soup kitchen different is that it re-creates the famous Soup Nazi episode from 90's sitcom Seinfeld. The Soup Nazi was renowned for making excellent soup, but refused to serve anyone who didn't follow his strict code of behaviour. The Limes has adopted the same set of rules:

1.) Have your money ready ($5 for a bowl of homemade soup plus complimentary bread for the friendly.)

2.) Choose your soup then stand to the far left immediately after ordering.

3) Any complaints and it's no soup for you!

Follow these rules and you'll be enjoying a piping hot meal quicker than you can say, "These pretzels are making me thirsty."

As well as the quirky appeal of seeing your favourite television moment come to life, Limes also provides a roofttop bar, a DJ spinning tracks from the 80s and 90s and a range of quality wines and desserts.

The Rooftop opens at 5.30pm every Tuesday night and will be open all throughout winter. Places are dependent on availibility so you may need to make a booking. You can e-mail Limes Hotel or call (07) 3852 9000 to assure your place.
