Fabulous Theatre Transporting You To The Austrian Alps
The hills are alive with The Sound of Music brought to you by Centrestage Geelong.

Who doesn't love a true love story, with a splash of drama thrown in? At GPAC (Geelong Performing Arts Centre) from July 19th you will be immersed in the beautiful mountains of song with some of Melbourne's most talented community performers.

In 2018, Centrestage Geelong was awarded a cluster of guild awards for their amazing shows and The Sound of Music is sure to be another treat.

In what promises to be a lavish, critically acclaimed production, you will be amazed at the revolving stage with all sets on the one stage (especially brought in from overseas for this show).

Be entranced by over 40 nuns and postulants singing in Latin and delight in the amazing talent that comes together on one stage in Geelong.

Bring the whole family - community theatre is welcoming to all with amazing ticket prices and great snacks and programs to make for an enchanting day or evening experience.

With so many amazing places to stay and eat on the Bellarine Peninsula, there are many options to make The Sound of Music a pivotal part of an amazing break away.

The Sound Of Music shares the uplifting true story of the Von Trapp family's flight across the mountains. It's sure to delight both the young and those who have lived through the years.

Rodgers and Hammerstein's music brings unforgettable touches to this amazing score, sharing some of the most memorable songs ever performed on the musical stage including My Favorite Things, Do-Re-Mi, Climb Ev'ry Mountain, The Lonely Goatherd, Sixteen Going on Seventeen, and the namesake song of The Sound of Music.
A terrific family event!
