One of the various eating outlets in Ingle Farm Shopping Centre, primarily specializes in offering a good range of tasty Italian dishes. It is quite popular, with a crowd of a good size when we went there for dinner on a weekday.

This restaurant is known for its Giant Schnitzels, which can be ordered plain or with various toppings. The name is quite fitting because the portion size of the schnitzel allows it to be easily shared. The chicken schnitzel that we chose was cooked just right and set off by a crisp crumb coating. The pepperoni in the New Yorker topping that we picked imparted a delectable smoky flavour, which was balanced by the slightly sweet capsicum slices. Served with the schnitzel was a salad dressed in a tangy dressing and a serving of fluffy chips.

When ordering their American Cut Pork Ribs, customers have the choice of ordering either a half or full rack of ribs. The flesh of the ribs was easy to separate from the bones and the JD sauce used to glaze them gave them a delectable barbeque flavour. Compared to the chips that came with their schnitzel, the accompanying curly fries had a crispier texture and were not over-salted.

The crust of their Giardina Pizza leaned towards a thinner style and was baked sufficiently to give it a nice toasted flavour. The grilled eggplant and zucchini still retained a bit of bite and the artichokes added a bit of extra texture. Porcini mushrooms provided a bit of an earthy flavour and while there was a fair amount of bocconcini it did not taste too creamy.

The flesh of their Chicken Wings had a firmer texture compared to their ribs but was still easy to eat off the bones. For the sauce, we were able to have a combination of Buffalo Suicide, Peri Peri and Fiery BBQ, which gave the wings a spicy kick that was not too hot and a hint of sourness.

We liked that the layers of pasta in the House-made Lasagne were cooked al dente and the amount of filling was enough to make eating the dish a satisfying experience. Served with the dish was the same salad that came with their schnitzel and ribs to serve as a foil to its richness.

Compared to the pepperoni in their New Yorker Schnitzel, the salami in the Italiano Schnitzel had a slightly spicier flavour. There were a good amount of olives to provide a salty element to the dish. Sliced mushrooms completed the topping. While the dish normally included cheese, we were able to have it omitted.

Diners have the choice of indoor seating or out at the covered balcony area. Its location makes it convenient for visitors to Ingle Farm Shopping Centre to have a delicious meal before or after they are done shopping.
