It's nearly 1 PM, you are in Magill and have just run into one of the school mums and you are both hungry. You need to get back for school pick up but don't want mediocre food. It's a good thing that Sorelle is close by. The food is fantastic and the service is superb.

What is really nice is that you feel comfortable here whether dropping by for a coffee after a workout, lunching with a few friends or out for an evening meal.

The warm chicken salad (Piccatine Di Pollo Al Formaggio Blu) is probably my lunch favourite however when with more than one friend, we sometimes order the tasting plate or a few antipasto selections to share and the only comments heard around the table is that we should have ordered more even though we definitely don't need any more!

As for the evening meals, there are always tempting specials but the Tre Sorelle main stands out for me as it is a very substantial and delicious tagliatelle with Pacific Ocean bug tails in a gorgeous rose sauce. Sorelle recently won best vegetarian pizza in the 2012 Global Pizza Challenge which really doesn't surprise me as I dined here with a friend from Italy and she raved about how good and authentic this pizza was.

The owners are also parents of three young girls who were the inspiration for the name Sorelle, which means sisters in Italian. As parents and restaurateurs, they offer a "kids eat free" deal every Tuesday night which means that you can get out and enjoy a beautiful meal with your family.
