The other week my brother asked me to go to Sonix with him and his friends. I made my best friend come too. Set above a 28 lane bowling complex, Sonix Family Entertainment is a great entertainment place for kids today. They run parties that include laser tag and ten pin bowling, and have 70 indoor video games. For $25, you can play three games, around 15 minutes each, shooting all your friends in a dark room.
Big fun can be had with around 8-16 players, especially if those players are your mates. Teams of up to four can play against each other or you can play as every man for themselves. After each game you can check your accuracy and score with your friends. Then you have the freedom to choose which type of game you want to play next.
While you wait for other teams to finish their games you can test your gaming skills on the arcade games outside the laser tag room. Collect enough tokens and you can win a prize, or try your luck on the claw machines. Sonix have a Coin Tech's debit card system installed to manage their location and have a video game to suit everyone.
Birthday parties are a big success at Sonix. The food and game packages vary in price. Food is generally $7 a person. That includes soft drink, pizza and 4 of their hot food menu items like chips, dim sims, party pies, and sausage rolls. They even provide ice cream cakes to make your life easier as a mum.
Game packages range in price from $10 to $26 depending on what kind of fun you have planned. The ultimate plus package includes laser tag, video games and ten pin bowling which is great value for $26 each.
Once every month, Sonix hold a special event for the night owls amongst us. Midnight madness is their action-packed, all night laser tag and video games. Unlimited games and laser tag from 12.00 am to 7.00 am for $35 is so popular though that I recommend you book in advance
I had a blast shooting my brother and his friends, even though we are all in our late teens or older. Don't take my word for it though. Try it out some day and sample the fun for yourselves.
