Having received a turntable for my birthday this year, I have been trawling many a market stall, garage sale and Rockaway Records store for vinyl to add to my new collection.
Located near the Stones Corner pub on Logan Road, Sonic Sherpa Records is a new discovery of mine for new and secondhand records, CDs and music related merchandise.

A small shop with an indie vibe, it's a great place for treasure hunters, as you don't quite know what you're going to stumble across that will totally make your collection. Going there is always a reason to get excited.

So much vinyl available at the Sonic Sherpa Store
In my opinion, the best parts about Sonic Sherpa are the sheer range of artists they stock and the cool instore signings and music sessions they have with musicians in Brisbane- great for a listen!
I also enjoy that the merchandise section hasn't overtaken the entire store. Unlike certain other pop culture focused stores, where the
Funko model aisle resembles an entire shop of its own, Sonic focuses on the important stuff- the music and the artists.
You'll need a bit of time to get a full look through Sonic Sherpa but if you're searching for a fun Saturday afternoon of treasure hunting, Sonic Sherpa Record Store is a great option. Keep up to date with the artists doing in stores via their instagram: @sonicsherpa
