Coming off the back of the runaway success of Dream Circus (the first immersive experience at Sydney’s Luna Park) is the brand new journey of Sonic Neon. With a fusion of sound and light through the combination of electronic music and state-of-the-art light displays, it will spin you on your head.
Using a multitude of kaleidoscopic mediums, Sonic Neon takes a musical soundtrack and creates a visual display that lets you see every sound and hear every light (yes, that’s correct and not the other way around).
Built into the ground floor of the re-imagined Crystal Palace, the experience is spread over 6 themed rooms that each respond to a different musical sound. Groove your way through crafted rooms that include the Drum Den with its pulsating rhythms and the Melodic Maze with its ethereal melodies.
It’s a symphony of creativity, fun and joy where you’re transported to a rave like never before with a sensory overload of over 26,000 neon and UV lights, lasers and revolving beams, along with interactive installations shining from the walls and beyond. Towards the end, the infinity mirror room with its hanging lights will further transport you to another galaxy with a 3D video experience unlike anything ever seen in Australia.
Showcasing innovation and cutting-edge technology from Mandylights, the sparkling Sonic Neon launches these April school holidays for a 4-month period. Tickets for this family-friendly immersive go on public sale from 8th April at 6pm. In the meantime, you can
join the waitlist and get exclusive access to pre-sale tickets before they’re released to the public. Note that all tickets must be purchased through the Fever app or the Fever website. There are no door sales.
Food and drink can be purchased in outlets around Luna Park and can be taken into the venue, with the exception of alcohol. It’s best to purchase items that can be eaten whilst moving around as there are no seats.
This spectacular breathtaking odyssey on the water’s edge of Sydney Harbour is one to put in your calendar no matter your age. It’s also wheelchair accessible at this iconic fantasy palace within the smiling face of Luna Park and will take all that venture inside to another realm.
