Well head straight to the belly of the South Melbourne Markets, just around the corner from the Fair Trade coffee, and you'll find the funky SO:ME space.

A fabulous hub for independent and emerging designers from around Australia, SO:ME Space is where great design, fashion and creativity come together.

Discover books, bikes, vintage, beauty products and more - before or after buying your free range eggs!



One of my favourite parts of this space is the 'I Have I Need' corner. It's like going back to the good old days of community notice boards (see photo). It's a meaningful message space for all.

Need a job? Have a band? Need a home? Just write it up on the board. Some are serious, some are seriously funny.

Open the same times as the rest of the Market. Enjoy.
