FUN FACT: Paper printing, which composed of woodblock printing, can be dated back to 220 AD. Notably, technology soon took over with the likes of the printing press which was invented by Johannes Gutenberg in the 15th century.
On the 24 January 2020, Whiteman Park is hosting a Solar Print Workshop for Kids. It will be hosted by printmaking instructor Phoebe Todd-Parrish, who will also accompany students around a short walk in the park to gather some materials.
Students will return to the
Print Workshop, where they will assemble, expose (make!) and wash-out their newly created prints. Each student will go home with 5 prints.

Friday 24 January 9:30-11:30m
Friday 24 January 12:30-2:30pm
Tickets are $25.00 per participant with 20% of the sales going to the Red Cross Australia to help with the bush fire crisis. Bookings can be done
online with a minimum number of 4 participants for this class to be hosted.
This is one workshop where kids learn about nature, create a naturally inspired artwork and help a much needed cause.
