Don't be a lonely writer
The Society of Women Writers Victoria is a network of women who write, in a broad sense of the word, authors, poets, journalists and more are all welcome. They run workshops and meetings and provide opportunities for members to strengthen their writing skills and promote their work.

This year, the Society of Women Writers is running a series of four free workshops at the Library at the Dock (Docklands Library). You do not have to be a member to attend the workshops - all are welcome. There is no need to book your spot.

The workshops will run from 10:30am - 2pm on Fridays 26 March, 28 May, 27 August, and 29 October. Each is preceded by a members' meeting.

While the theme of each workshop is yet to be announced, the workshops are touted as an opportunity to sharpen your writing skills and obtain feedback on your writing. The workshops will also provide a chance to meet and network with like-minded others.
