Soap was a huge hit when it last visited us in 2015 with sell out performances and this show is sure to clean up again at this year's
Fringe Festival .
Soap is a circus with a difference. It's thrilling, it's amazing and it'll leave you absolutely breathless.
On stage are six acrobats in six bathtubs who present some very sexy bath time routines. There's a fabulous mix of music, humour and acrobatic skills in each steamy performance.
Throughout the show is an opera singer who stands atop the entire show and sings in the most glorious of voices. Her presence added quite a melodramatic atmosphere to the on-stage acrobatics.
Well placed and well-timed dancing with bath towels over naked bodies was classy and had a funny end (pun intended). Juggling, singing, dancing, trapeze, rubber ducks and romance - this show is super slick and really has it all.
The solo bathtub routine and the trapeze act were particularly mesmerising. Water fell on the stage like rain and the performers used it to every awe-inspiring advantage that they could. It certainly was a highlight of the show.
There's a bit of fun with water and the audience too. I won't say too much - but if you don't want to get wet, you may want to sit several rows back.
The soundtrack is eclectic. The performers are seductive and astounding. Soap is a wonderful mix of erotic theatre, comedy, opera and stunning acrobatics. This show just sizzles! You simply must see Soap.
Soap can be seen at
Peacock in Gluttony in Rymill Park. With the exception of a few days, the show will run for the entire Fringe Festival.
