Snugglepot & Cuddlepie Live on Stage

Snugglepot & Cuddlepie are coming to the Melbourne Arts Centre especially for the September school holidays. Live on stage, this beautiful show is ideal for children aged 5 to 10 years and follows the gumnut babies on their journey to see a real life human but only from a distance.

The show moves from the Australian bush to the city, along the way meeting Professor Kookaburra, Mrs Fantail and Little Ragged Blossom. As the gumnut babies try to avoid falling victim to the Big Bad Banksia Man, there is mischief, laughter and a whole lot of fun.

Snugglepot & Cuddlepie are brought to life by the same production company who brought us The 26-Storey Treehouse and the 52-Storey Treehouse.

This 55 minute show is running at the Arts Centre from Saturday 17th September to Sunday 25th September 2016, with shows at different times throughout the day, depending on which day you book. There will be an AUSLAN interpreted performance on Saturday 24th September at 12noon.

Members who purchase tickets for the 2pm show on Thursday 22nd September will also have the opportunity meet some of the cast after the performance.

Tickets range from $26 for B-Reserve, $32 for A-Reserve and $39 for Premium seating. Bookings can be made by phoning 1300 182 183 or via the Arts Centre Melbourne website. These prices do not include booking or other fees.

For hungry Gumnut babies there is a $13 Gumnut Lunch Box on offer at the Arts Centre. Enjoy a little soft chicken roll (brioche), a juice box, fresh fruit and an ice cupcake. A vegetarian sandwich option is also available upon request. The Gumnut Lunch Box is available from the stand opposite Allegro prior to performances near the carp park entry on Level 5 of the Theatres Building. Patron must present their voucher.
