Taboganning, snowmen & brand new ski slope
Corin Forest Mountain Retreat is located 25 minutes from the southern suburbs of Tuggeranong and 50 minutes from Canberra's CBD. Every winter, in time for the July School Holidays, Corin Forest Mountain Retreat cranks up the snow machines and has a snow play area for kids to toboggan, make snowmen and have snowball fights. Toboggan hire is $5.

This year they have also introduced a new attraction, where visitors can also learn to ski and snowboard on a beginner's slope. After enjoying your snow play session, walk back down to the main building and warm up by the fire with a hot drink and a wood fired pizza.

Snow play session times are:
8:30am - 11am
11am - 1:30pm
2pm - 4:30pm.

Price: $15 per person. Children under 2 are free.

* The luge ride on site is closed during the snow season.
* When school goes back, Corin Forest Mountain Retreat will be open on weekends only.
