Make a snowman or do many other things in this real snow
Snow is something we do not see in Brisbane or surrounds! Snow can bring with it a host of fun events. As there is no natural snow here, now there is an event where you can enjoy the snow and not have the awful cold that comes with it!

You will be able to play in real snow and there will be sessions you can go to for extra exciting events. Snow4Kids has been putting on amazing real snow entertainment for the children of Brisbane since 2013.

The very first snow event at South Bank was in 1988 at World Expo and the snowmaking technology has been constantly updated over the past 30 years. Snow4Kids specialise in fun snow experiences for children and their parents. The Snow4kids concept and equipment is used throughout Australia and South East Asia.

Snow4Kids will present their seventh edition of Snow4Kids in Brisbane. Here you will experience the most magical Snow event of the year at the South Bank Piazza, South Bank Parklands. It will be on from the 29th of June to the 14th of July 2019. The cost is $16 per person for an early bird special and then after that $21. You can book your tickets here.

Please note that this is a ticketed event and numbers are strictly limited. Tickets are available online or at the venue during the event if not sold out prior. Babies who are 12 months and under may enter the park for free with a paying adult. Children 8 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult who has a valid ticket.

The event is hosted by Snow4Kids and they are back to Brisbane these winter school holidays with the most magical snow event of the year.

Experience the excitement of real, fresh snow daily and enjoy:

Racing down the snow toboggan hills
Build a frosty fun snowman
Throw snowballs
Conquer the snow mountain
Meet Wynter the polar bear
There will be more snow than ever before
Special snow characters
Hundreds of tons of FRESH REAL SNOW

The opening hours will be daily from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm with the last session starting at 3.30 pm. Session times will be at 9.30 am, 10.30 am, 11.30 am, 12.30 pm, 1.30 pm, 2.30 pm, and 3.30 pm. Each session runs for 50 minutes.

What is included in the Snow4Kids Winter 2019
Snow4Kids Winter 2019 features a mixture of snow powered and snow themed attractions. Snow4Kids visitors will be able to race down one of the four-lane toboggan hills. You will also be able to join in the activities mentioned above. You will be provided with decorations to build your snowman. The snowballs you can throw can be aimed at a selection of different targets and displays provided in the park.

You can play and climb on the snow mountain that is topped up with fresh snow daily or you can even dance with the larger than life snow characters. Or why not burn off some energy by having a fun little snowball fight?

Snow4Kids caters for a lot of very young customers. To ensure their safety, snowball fights with real snowballs are not allowed. Snowballs made from real snow can be painful and cause serious damage when they hit people. In order to keep everybody safe and happy, there will be a selection of fun targets to throw real snowballs at. The Park is well staffed and safety is at a premium as they have safely catered for over 200,000 customers at South Bank during the past six years.

Adults
Snow4Kids encourages adults to get active and join in the fun with their children. You are welcome to slide down the snow toboggan run, enjoy the snow dome and assist your children as needed.

Organisers do ask adults not to throw real snowballs to ensure the safety of young customers. They also ask children over 12 to only throw snowballs very lightly and be aware of the younger children around them.
