REAL snow, tobogganing and snow play at South Bank
As the temperatures drop and the winter school holidays descend upon Brisbane, South Bank will once again be turned into a kids' winter paradise with REAL fluffy, soft, ice-cold snow. Snow4Kids takes over the The Piazza at South Bank from 30 June to 15 July 2018. If your child has never revelled in the wonder of snow play then this is the place to be these winter school holidays.
If you thought it doesn't snow in Brisbane then you haven't yet experienced Snow4Kids. This is the sixth year Snow4Kids has brought snow making and wintry fun to Brisbane and its fourth year at South Bank Parklands.
2018 will be bigger than ever with reduced ticket prices and even more snow - enough to warm the hearts (and wallets) of school holiday-harried Brisbane parents. In previous years different tickets, and consequently more expense, were required for separate activities but 2018 will see ticket prices of $15 per person covering everything that's on offer: snow play, snow mountains with tobogganing, snow man building and snow ball throwing (at targets, not at other snow players). What could be better for bored kids during the holidays?

When: Snow4Kids will be open every day from 9.30am to 4.30pm from Saturday 30 June to Sunday 15 July.
Snow 4Kids is special because its focus is firmly on the littlies. Children must be 12 years and under to attend and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults require a ticket, too, and are welcome to join in the fun and help children with activities. But to ensure a safe and enjoyable time for the kids, anyone over the age of 12 is not allowed to throw snowballs or ride the toboggans. They will even have two snow mountains this year with toboggan slopes - one for smaller children and a steeper one for older children.
There is another snowy, icy winter event in Brisbane this year, too. Skating At Brisbane Festival offers ice skating, slides and apres ski fun for everyone. You can read all about it here.
