Real snow in Docklands 'till August
Embrace Melbourne's winter this July and August, and enjoy Harbour Town's FREE Snow Play.
FREE Snow Play at Harbour Town
Over the last few months, you may have noticed a pop-up of wintry Melbourne events to coincide with the July school holidays. Such events include the River Rink Ice Skating at Federation Square, and the Melbourne Ice Slide at the foot of the Eureka Tower.
The aforementioned activities end soon, but Harbour Town's Snow Play is about to begin, and best of all, it's completely FREE.
Enjoy real snow in Docklands until 28 August 2016, for FREE
Enjoy real life snow in the heart of Docklands, in a snow play dome set up for the whole family to enjoy.
The fun begins on Friday 8 July and will run until Sunday 28 August, giving you the chance to build a snowman, make snow angels or simply frolic in the fluffy white stuff for free.
The dome will be set up as a winter wonderland, with LED star lighting set up inside the dome to resemble the northern lights. A white picket fence, snow capped trees and a life size polar bear statue adds to the experience.
Getting to Harbour Town
Harbour Town is conveniently located only five minutes from the CBD of Melbourne at the Docklands. Jump on the free City Circle tram from the CBD, which stops right outside the shopping precinct.
