Summary
Blueberry Pancake
The sweet creaminess of regular milk is a nice treat to use as opposed to the usual coconut milk found in most health drink recipes!
1 cup of milk, plain Greek yogurt, frozen blueberries, vanilla extract (possibly extract of your choice), cinnamon, and maple syrup (personally, I would use regular pancake syrup as maple syrup costs so much).
Coconut-Blackberry Shake
This recipe calls for coconut milk, but I personally think that cow’s milk would be better!
2/3 cup milk, blackberries and vanilla frozen yogurt.
Opinion
I like Helwig's cookbook, but almost every recipe calls for coconut milk! As I have stated above, I think that regular cow’s milk would be delicious in place of coconut milk.
Out of both recipes that I have highlighted, one ingredient that kind of costs a lot is the vanilla frozen yogurt. So, I think that vanilla ice cream is good maybe even better!
I give this cookbook a 5-star rating!
