Just a quick walk from the guesthouse
Backpackers be aware, Khao San Road is not the only place to stay in Bangkok and in fact, it is by no means the best option either.
I discovered this amazing guesthouse by accident because I was staying across the road in somewhere far inferior. but Bee and crew here will totally surpass your expectations.
It is situated in Silom, one of the business districts of Bangkok, and right next to the BTS Skytrain and MRT underground system which means that you can get around without being ripped off by rickshaw drivers or taxis that refuse to use the meter (a common hazard of Khao San).
It is also right next to the notorious Patpong night market, home to an excellent array of gifts and clothes as well as being a centre to the more exotic elements of Bangkok's nightlife scene.
Go Go bars and ping pong shows among other things are on offer here, but be careful because most of the places that involve going upstairs are a rip off.
The hostel itself is delightfully clean with both dorm and private rooms available. The dorms contain 4-8 beds and are extremely comfortable with Air conditioning and lockers as standard.
The common area is sociable and contains free Tea and Coffee facilities, TV with DVDs to watch and some books to read. There is also free internet, both wi-fi and several terminals for those to use.
Breakfast is included and involves fruit, a bread roll and tea/coffee and is served with love.
I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bangkok.
