Call for Submissions
Are you an artist with an ecological bent and a taste for the miniature who lives, works or studies in the City of Maribyrnong? Council is seeking submissions for its first . Works will reuse and recycle items on a scale no larger than 30cm x 30cm x 30cm.

Waste is often seen as a problem "out there." This exhibition aims to bring it "in here" on a small scale, using creativity to examine the larger scale environmental and human impacts of waste in our lives.

The categories are: Wearable, E-Waste (for artwork made from electronics), Functional, Youth (entrants under 30), Library (for artwork made from or inspired by literature), Schools (artwork created by a student or students from primary or secondary school) and People's Choice.

Just to make it that little bit more challenging, you'll need to submit your entries online by 6pm this Sunday, 17 November 2013 for your chance at a share in $3000 worth of prizes. You entry will need to have been made within the last five years. Your artwork will need to be delivered to Footscray Town Hall on Friday 22 or Saturday morning 23 November.

**The Exhibition
**Prizes will be awarded on the opening night of the exhibition, Wednesday, 27 November 2013, 6-8pm at the Footscray Library (please RSVP if you're attending opening night).

The exhibition will run until Thursday, 19 December 2013.
