Art with a Twist

It's said the greatest things come in small packages; like diamond rings, new born babies and now… art. The creatives at Back to Back Galleries (57 Bull St, Cooks Hill 2300) have challenged over 70 artists working in a variety of mediums to craft three artworks, but here's the twist; no artwork can exceed the 15cm by 15cm limit.

Small will be officially opened by Margaret Sivyer at 6pm on Friday the 5th of April. Featuring over 200 interpretations of 'the birds, the bees, the flowers and the trees' across multiple mediums such as painting, ceramics, drawings, fibre art, woodwork and delicate art by silversmiths, there really is something for everybody. But for those of you who are interested in more than just some complimentary cheese and wine surrounded by miniature artwork, the people at Back to Back galleries are giving you an opportunity to head in early and purchase these distinctive works this Easter weekend (Saturday 30th- Sunday 31st).

If you unfortunately miss these dates, don't stress! The exhibition will remain open from March 30th until April 14th and will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am-5pm. (Closed Good Friday)
