Friendly Neighbourhood Dining
If you are in the Fairfield area, do try Slinkys. Next time I go to Fairfield Gardens I'll definitely eat at this cafe, as it is much nicer than any of the places in Fairfield Gardens.
Bright , clean decor.
Clean, comfortable and welcoming
Right next to Liquorland, on the corner of Fairfield Road and Ashby Street, you can fill your alcohol shopping list and then stop for lunch.
There was a good range of food at reasonable prices. I had a mocha (I wish I'd remember to ask for a mug. Who ever thought to put hot drinks in a glass?) and turkey and Brie bagel, which was very generously filled.
The decor is trendy and comfortable with indoor or outdoor seating.
They have a phone ahead order system which would be great for the time poor or impatient.
Phone ahead if you're in a rush.
The staff were incredible friendly. They seemed to know many of the customers and were chatting to them as they worked. One gentleman looked like he may have settled in for the day.
