Slim Fast - How it Works

I have preached Slim Fast for decades! When I was in high school they were there. Years later, they have not moved!

  • I was not overweight then but wanted to stay healthy. So, when I was in high school and when I packed a lunch, I would pack a Slim Fast shake. I did allow myself a treat. Wednesdays were pizza day in the cafeteria. So, Wednesdays were a "cheat day" and I would have a piece of pizza.

  • Another advantage? I am a chocoholic. So, I can have a chocolate shake without feeling guilty to satisfy that craving! What is your favorite flavor? It is like choosing your favorite ice cream!

  • They say to have 3 snacks. I change that way of thinking. I consider calling them "mini-meals". Snacks seem small in size whereas mini-meals seem bigger. You just need to train your thinking!

  • As for your daily meal, change it up! Do not have the same meal every day! You are going to get bored and may as well give up. Have a variety! Then, do not have soup as you are not going to get filled up. Bulk it up!

  • Finally, you really can do this! It does not even seem like you are on a diet.

  • Based on clinical studies demonstrating weight loss through a calorie-controlled diet comprised of one sensible meal, two meal replacements, and three snacks, regular exercise, and plenty of fluids. Average weight loss is 1-2 lbs per week.
