Slide four hundred metres down East Melbourne's Lansdowne Street, with the return of Slide Melbourne for 2016. The world's longest water slide will be laid out in the street for what is quickly becoming an essential Melbourne summer tradition.
If you missed out on the December slide event, you will not have to wait another year, as the slide comes back on the 7th of February.

A ticket to ride the slide costs $41.30 per person and should be booked ahead of time here. Due to the popularity of the event, sessions book out early so it is wise to be organised ahead of time. Your ticket entitles you to a two-hour window of sliding, in which you will be able to embark on three to six slides.
Children are permitted to slide, provided they are over 110cm tall. Note that those under twelve must be supervised by an adult in the same sliding sessions.
