Seems like a day would give hardly enough time to explore this area Dave. Would you says parts of the trails are as steep as the hike from Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty?

There is a well formed path at Mt Lofty and the ascend can be challenging.

Will remember food and water should I make a day trip out of Sleep Hills.

After having to carry the kids (most of the way) whilst hiking in Taiwan, I am thinking twice about taking them with me on any trails in the near future.

To be honest I haven't done that hike Yin-Yin, but it probably has a well formed path?

Some parts of the trails here are quite rocky and with loose stones - difficult on a steep hill.

I thought the two Belair options were a little challenging (steep) if you plan to go to the bottom, although returning is of course rather harder.

The Sleeps Hill Drive way is pretty easy.

You could spend a day here, but remember there are no facilities at all.

I made several trips with Max and each probably took an hour or so. I enjoyed it better that way.
