Amazing Playground for Young And Old
When junior was little, keeping him amused was simple a trip to the local park with swings and a climbing frame kept him busy and active for hours. As he grew older, it has become more difficult to find places which would challenge him physically and he would be excited to visit.
That was until we discovered the newly opened Skyzone Miranda, southern hemisphere's largest trampoline park.
State-of-the-art, two story high and offering full range of thrilling trampoline and climbing activities, Skyzone is an amazing experience for young kids as well as teenagers and their parents.
On a recent visit junior and his cousins spent over 3 hours bouncing and climbing and I had a hard time getting them home at the end. I am sure they would have been happy to spend the night there if I let them.
What makes the centre so awesome, is not only the great variety of activities, but also the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, who ensure that everyone is having fun but also remains safe. The centre offers many challenging courses and games including:
Suitable for beginners as well as advanced climbers, Sky Climb has many different climbing walls. Challenge yourself by timing your climb or race your friends up the wall. Before you start, the staff show you the ropes and run through a quick safety briefing. If you are a thrillseeker and not afraid of heights, try your skill at the Leap of Faith station.
This activity is for the serious and more advanced jumpers. Show off your acrobatic skills with flips and twists and running on walls. If you are only starting your acrobatic career and wish to reach this level of competence, book into one of Skyzone classes.
If you've ever wanted to walk a tightrope high above the circus floor but got nervous just thinking about it, here is a perfect opportunity to learn. The line is stretched above soft foam, so if you fall, you won't get hurt.
Even little people aren't forgotten at Skyzone. Inflatable bouncy castles and slides are available for toddlers and small kids, who may not have the confidence or ability to get on the trampolines yet.
Skyzone runs trampoline classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced jumpers during each school term check out their website for dates and times, as well as information about each level.
Comfortable clothing. You will need to buy Skyzone socks in order to go on the trampolines. The socks are only $2 and you can keep using them each time you come back. For those booked into Sky Climb make sure you wear appropriate enclosed shoes. You will need to empty your pockets of phones, keys and any other items that can be lost or cause injury. If you need to get changed and keep your valuables safe, you can hire a locker.
Although you can just turn up at Skyzone and buy your tickets at the door, at times the centre can get really busy, so it is a good idea to book online ahead of time to make sure you don't have to wait or miss out.
