You don't need to try out bungee jumping to get the adrenalin pumping, the is something that the whole family can enjoy. It is hard to miss the gondolas that take you up to the Skyline complex, on what is reputed to be the steepest lift in the Southern Hemisphere. From here you'll be able to look down at Queenstown below, and at the fun luge track that awaits you.



Once you're at the top you'll grab your helmet and get in line. There are two tracks to choose from. The Scenic Track is perfect for younger kids or people who are a bit less adventurous, you'll still get to zoom down the slope but it just won't be as wild. The Advanced track is steeper, and this is the option for thrill seekers as you speed through tunnels, dips, and hollows.



If you're not game to try the luge yourself, you can always choose the walking track and grab some pictures of any family members or friends taking the ride. You can take a ride in the gondola even if you don't plan on having a go on the luge, and this is a great way to check out the scenery.

Gondola 1 Luge: Adult $33, Child $23, Family $87
Gondola 2 Luge: Adult $38, Child $28
Gondola 3 Luge: Adult $43, Child $33
Gondola 5 Luge: Adult $48, Child $38

The luge and gondola operate 365 days a year, but they can be closed during poor weather conditions.
