Freaking out about the feast you're meant to prepare for Christmas?

Let give you the inspiration, motivation and ideas you need to create that magical Christmas banquet at home.

Held on Saturday 7 December at The Village Markets, this joyful and fun event will start from 10am to 3.30pm with Matt Golinski and Alastair McLeod cooking up a storm.



Most well-known for his appearances on Ready Steady Cook television series, Matt Golinski is a highly regarded Australian chef based on the Sunshine Coast. Having cooked hundreds of delectable dishes charming viewers, gained authentic cooking experiences overseas and been an executive chef for Ricky Ricardo's restaurant, Matt certainly has a lot to offer. So come at share his passion for cooking at 11am.

Another popular chef and TV personality making an appearance is Alastair McLeod. Born in Belfast, Alastair was trained in Europe and has had extensive experience in various Michelin starred restaurants around the world. Alistair has chosen Brisbane as his home and here, he's worked at Bretts Wharf and Tank Restaurant and Bar as executive chef. See what Alastair has to offer from 2pm and you won't regret it.

Bring your kids along and get them involved in the free gingerbread decorating fun from 10am to 3pm. Not only will they have a great time, but also become a great little gingerbread chef for all your gingerbreads needs at home.

As well as a day of awesome cooking demonstrations, there will be fantastic samples, Dan Murphy's wine matches, cool games, giveaways and a recipe booklet for you to take home. No bookings needed so just turn up and have a wonderful time!
