An affordable airport transfer option

If you are looking for affordable airport transfers from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport, then SkyBus is for you. SkyBus operates fast and frequent bus services from the airport to Melbourne city, Docklands & Southbank, St Kilda, Frankston & bayside suburbs, western suburbs, and eastern suburbs.

During my recent trip to Melbourne, I booked hotel accommodation in the city and therefore decided to give SkyBus a go - and I was not disappointed. The driver was very friendly and helpful, and the express ride into the city centre was smooth. I flew Jetstar, and so boarding the bus at Terminal 4 does mean that it will be stopping at the other terminals to pick up more passengers before the non-stop 30-minute trip to Southern Cross Station. The bus has plenty of onboard luggage storage space, and free WiFi on board which would be particularly useful for overseas travellers.

Once arriving at Southern Cross Station, you can either head your own way from there or avail yourself of the SkyBus free shuttle to eight different stops within the city area. And hopefully your hotel accommodation would be fairly close to one of these stops!

Purchasing a SkyBus ticket is easy as well as affordable. I paid $36.50 for an adult return journey. Tickets can be purchased online via their website, or in person at their kiosks or ticket booths located outside the Melbourne Tullamarine Airport terminals and near the entrance to the Southern Cross Station.

I had no idea we had a double decker bus. It's almost like a London experieince in Melbourne.
