Love gelato? Come and choose one of these
Ice cream and gelato; who can resist those tubs of rainbow-coloured, creamy delights served in a cone or a cup?
Award winning gelato cafe
After having a 3-course lunch, including dessert, and while walking back to the car, we happened to pass this colourful shop and could not resist the tempting array of gelato ice creams.
There were about 25 flavours as well as sorbets, and most of them looked delightful. "Tastings" were encouraged, and I chose single caramel chunks in a cup, while my friends chose a mint and chocolate.
We had these at Skoops Gelato Cafe who are in Coventry Village and situated at the front entrance near the playground and aquariums.
Their well deserved awards are proudly displayed in a side cabinet.
They also sell a small assortment of savoury lunches/rolls, as well as some decadent looking cakes.

Even though I remember buying an ice cream for 50 cents (or was it pence!), their prices are quite reasonable. One scoop in a cup was a very large scoop and price-wise similar or slightly lower than other ice cream parlours I have been to.
There is ample seating around this area, and I will be back to try a few more flavours.
