Have you ever considered having a face-lift? Would you like your skin to improve and be rejuvenated?

As we grow older, we lose collagen and our skin gets thinner, drier, and somewhat less elastic. It is therefore not able to protect itself anymore from damage. The collagen is broken down by UV light and hence as we age, we start to get wrinkles! This, of course, will happen to everyone, given time, however, we can help to make it not so severe by using proper skincare.

To this end, this masterclass claim it is "better than Botox, less dangerous than fillers, longer lasting than lipstick". and is cosmetic acupuncture. This process is done with Chinese medicine by the Zhong Centre and Dr Abbie Acupuncture.

For centuries, the Chinese had all sorts of potions and remedies to cure many things. They also have acupuncture and while it may not be for all, is an extremely highly regarded practice nowadays and even practised by some general practitioners. This masterclass is termed as a "cosmetic acupuncture facial rejuvenation".

It will be held on Saturday 17th November 2018 and is back by popular demand. It is priced from $62 plus booking fee and you can make your bookings at this Eventbrite site.

It will be held at The Beatt Cafe, 24 Beatty Avenue, Armadale, from 1.00 pm to 2.30 pm.

ABOUT THE CLASS**
Dr Abbie is once again giving you her trade secrets so that you will be able to use the easy home cosmetic tool. This will be held at The Beatt Cafe, where you can have a coffee whilst you listen to Dr Abbie explain how to use Gua Sha and rejuvenate your face.

Using facial mapping and Chinese medicine diagnostics, Dr Abbie and the Zhong team will teach you how to understand how to maintain beauty and youthful vigour with little effort.

This will be the last masterclass for the year and is a hands-on workshop to learn how to look after your skin using traditional Chinese medicine techniques.

You will be given your own Jade Gua Sha, which is for facial lymphatic and brightening applications, and she will explain to you how to use this in order to enhance your beauty regime. This is a quick and easy technique for all types of skin, is chemical free, and totally natural.

Also used will be Tongue and Meridian Pulse diagnostics, this is often used in acupuncture to help get to the root of your constitution so that you can get more specific results and maintenance care.

This workshop will include your own individual high-quality Jade Gua Sha tool to take home and keep. There are two sizes and you can pick your size when you buy your tickets.

You will also be shown how to make foods to compliment your diet. This can help to nourish skin tissues, and you will be shown which foods to avoid for the best clarity of your skin pores; how to address rosacea; redness; as well as how to firm and tighten your forehead, eye bags and chin tucks! WOW - no need for a facelift!

Uses for Jade Gua Sha
Jade Gua Sha is a facial massage stone and is made of pure Jade. It is a cooling and cleansing stone and has been used in Chinese medicine for centuries to aid the body's filtration organs. They are generally hand carved from the highest-grade, pure jade crystal, and this tool hugs the curves of your face and neck in order to increase blood circulation. It will also smooth your skin as well as stimulating a variety of acupressure points.

Whilst encouraging circulation to the face and neck, it will aid lymphatic drainage, boost "qi" and "xue" to the face, and clear "qi" stagnation to make your eyes brighter.

You will be taught how to increase collagen and healing repair processes in your face and your neck.

Abbie will teach you to understand this ancient beauty technique which was used by Emperor's geishas and concubines to maintain their beauty and youthfulness.

During the workshop, other tools and demonstrations will be included and you will have the opportunity to buy any of these if you so desire.
