I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

The lunch
menu is not large but full of delicious options that highlight local produce. The perfectly presented sardines were from Port Lincoln and I could easily eaten another plateful. The simple entree highlighted the quality and freshness of the seafood. Children are also catered for with a healthy choices
menu where most dishes are $8.

The twice-cooked blue cheese soufflé was delicious it was light in texture but rich in flavour and teamed perfectly with the house Chardonnay. Choosing a main was difficult from the interesting options, curry and wallaby shank won on this visit but we will have to return to sample the duck and Angus beef eye fillet. They have a minimum of two-course requirement on weekends and public holidays but believe me, it is not hard to comply.

Morning and afternoon teas are served daily from 10am to 5 pm excluding the busy lunch service of midday - 3:30pm. The setting is perfect for private parties and
functions such as weddings. The views are lovely and you can choose to dine in the shade of the tree, on the veranda or inside. The atmosphere is romantic but relaxed and the staff members are friendly and efficient.
