The family passes are valid for the summer school holidays only and will expire on Sunday 29th January 2017. Passes cannot be redeemed for cash and are not transferable. They cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or offers and the competition ends on Friday 16th December 2016.

The coolest fun you can have these summer school holidays is at the O'Brien Group Arena at Docklands. Get your skates on and see if you can catch Santa. The jolly man in red will be making a very special guest appearance on the ice every weekend through December. Then, come January, escape the heat and put your skills to the test in the Endless Summer Fun obstacle course. The Ice Ambassadors will be on hand to spin up all you can handle, with plenty of off-ice activities, too.

You better watch out and you better not cry because, that's right, Santa Claus is coming to Docklands. Considering Santa lives in the North Pole, he is right at home on the ice. So catch him if you can every Saturday and Sunday through December. He'll be leaving the sleigh between 11am to 3pm for some fun and exercise starting Saturday 3rd December 2016 and waving his final goodbye on Saturday 31st December 2016. Jingle all the way!

Then with the New Year comes the O'Brien Group Arena's Endless Summer Fun Obstacle Course. So when the kids start to complain they're bored and you're looking for something really cool, and a little bit different to do - this is it. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned skater you can put your skating skills to the test. Everyone is welcome because although this is a challenge, the emphasis will be squarely on giving it a go.

Unlimited public skating is open at the O'Brien Group Arena every day of the week starting from 9am and not ending till late. Expect a proper party on ice as in-house DJ's oversee the musical selection across both the Olympic sized ice rinks.

Warm, comfortable clothes are recommended and beginners can learn some skating basics at one of the free lessons on offer every hour between 11am to 3pm. Other lessons include how to skate backwards for more advanced skaters.

During the summer school holidays, kids can take a break in the craft zone and get their creative on. There'll be free face painting and younger kids (8 years and under) will love their own dedicated play area. Complete with toys, games and music, there's even an extra special snow play experience just for them. The craft and kids zone will be open 9am to 5pm every day until Sunday 29th January 2017.

Right throughout January there's heaps of daily prizes and giveaways to win, and if you book online you can avoid the queues at the door and be on the ice and skating heaps faster.

Entry for unlimited all day skating is $27 for adults, $23 for kids aged 6 to 14 years, $14 for kids aged 3 to 5 and families consisting of 2 adults and 2 kids are $82. Entry prices include skate hire and there is an onsite cafe catering to all your food and beverage needs.

The O'Brien Group Arena, located at 105 Pearl River Road, Docklands is home to many ice sports and programs including hockey, figure and speed skating. This is also a venue with a difference for birthday parties, group events and corporate functions.

Plus: Patrons who visit the O'Brien Group Arena enjoy a 20% discount on the neighbouring Melbourne Star Observation Wheel.
