The City of Stonnington is proudly presenting a sensational program of free outdoor concerts this summer.

The packed calendar of family-friendly events, under the banners of Home for Christmas, Sunset Sounds and The Classic Series, teams the beauty of the City's fine parks and gardens with a series of concerts spanning the musical spectrum!

As part of the Home for Christmas program, much-loved children's entertainer, Justine Clarke, will headline the City of Stonnington's A Kid's Christmas Concert from 4pm at Ardrie Park in East Malvern on Saturday 6 December.

The ever-popular annual Christmas Concert at Central Park in East Malvern, on Saturday 13 December will be followed by Carols at Como Park on Sunday 14 December, with comedian, musician, writer and performer, Eddie Perfect, star of Channel Ten's Offspring, Shane Warne the Musical and Keating! The Musical.

Celebrating 2015 in fine musical style will be the January series of Sunset Sounds, opening with Kylie Auldist and her seven-piece funk band, the Glenroy Allstars at Victoria Gardens on Sunday 4 January.

Fans of Van Morrison are sure to love Into the Mystic the Music of Van Morrison at Central Park on Sunday 11 January.

Wrapping up Sunset Sounds will be the toe-tapping vibes of the Pearly Shells Swing Orchestra at Malvern Gardens on Sunday 18 January.

February's hot days and balmy nights offer the perfect atmosphere for The Classic Series. Soprano, Cheryl Barker, leads a fine cast performing highlights from the great operas at Opera in the Park on Saturday 7 February at Victoria Gardens.

On Saturday 14 February a touch of Broadway glitz comes to Ardrie Park with an all-star cast performing songs from some of the best loved movie musicals of all time.

And for the grand finale, the kings of rock 'n roll cool, The Blackeyed Susans will perform with the fabulous Stonnington Symphony on Saturday 28 February in Malvern Gardens at Symphony Under the Stars.
