This little piggy went to market
If you love markets, this is the place to be. With a street and more full of stalls and specifically targeted at blokes, kids, creative people, coffee drinkers, Christmas shoppers...and the ladies too; this market really does have something for everyone.
Friends in Adelaide ask me, 'When is the next market at Murray Bridge?' The date has been set. It is Saturday 10th November. At Sixth Street Market you can meet the artists and find that distinctive, quirky, classy, one-off treasure you've been looking for as a gift or to treat yourself.
I love Kondoli the whale, where you can sit awhile for Ngarrindjeri storytelling. Face painting, ice creams, drinks and confectionery will also keep the kids happy. Look out for the free balloon animals.
Don and Brenda's Kids' Land is always amazing, creative and free.
You'll find great coffee from The Davery's catering van, Betty. There's delicious food including vegetarian and healthy options.
The blokes with their artisan bbq cook up exciting BBQ delights! They love sharing tastings of their shed crafted brews. Plenty of atmosphere in the pop-up bar with foot-stomping acoustic blues.
Be part of the interactive market atmosphere and leave your thoughts on the reflections wall.
Over 50 artists line the street, where you can select unique jewellery, clothing, homewares, cards, books and more. Regional Profile Cutters have great garden art and signage. Three Pottery wheels and a talented potter will be available to try your hand at making your own artistic piece. You can duck into the Art Gallery for even more art and craft to view or find something to purchase in the fabulous gallery gift shop. Cottage Box Chocolates in the main street of Murray Bridge is another great place to find a special gift to take home.
