Come along with your pooch to one or more of these events
There are nowadays many events, where your dog can join in the fun and have a day out.

This list are six of my top picks for the coming months.

Paws and Pours High Tea - Yarra Valley
WHEN: 10th May

This is going to be a really fun day where you will board Bella the dog welcoming bus. It will be an afternoon in the Yarra Valley on this fabulous dog-friendly experience. Bella will take you on this foodie jaunt, where you will stop for a slow wander around Lilydale Lake.

Here you can sip a glass of sparkling, while you are looking at the majestic vines. You can eat a range of hot and cold canape delights. This day is to celebrate that you can be out and about with your dog visiting regional places.

Read more about this fun day, here. Tickets will cost $10 to $125 and you can buy them here This is brought to you by Gourmet Pawprints

Doggy Picnic Adventure - Dandenongs
WHEN:11th May

You will journey along the Puffing Billy trail, which has very tranquil scenery and you will need to dress warmly as the air can get quite chilly.

It will be a 6 km easy grade walk between townships or if you are not up to that you can do the easier 2km walk - it all depends on what your paws feel like on the day. This tour will show you the pawfect beauty of the area. There are also other dates for this event.

Tickets start at $10 and you can make your bookings at Gourmet Pawprints. Check out their Facebook page.

Million Paws Walk Albert Park
WHEN:19th May

The Million Paws Walk will be held in many places around Australia on this day. It is the main fundraising for the RSPCA, who look after so many animals. Not only do they have shelters but they have officers who have to find people who have been immeasurably cruel to animals. This service is a continuing one unfortunately and for this they need funds.

So take your pooch and join in the fun and help raise money for this very worthy cause.

You can read more about this event at their Facebook page.

Doggy Walking Tour - Historical Williamstown
WHEN: 25th May

On this walk, you can explore the history of Williamstown with your fur babies. You will then have fish and chips on the foreshore where you can have a nice view of the city lights.

This tour is the pawfect way to experience this amazing town. You will return to times gone to find out all about the ghosts who wander around the pubs. There are also hulks who housed the prisoners and the colourful maritime past.

This is an easy 5km walk! If this date does not suit you check our their Facebook page for more dates. The cost is from $5.00 and you can make your bookings at the Gourmet Pawprints site.

Hanging Rock Doggy Picnic Adventure
WHEN: 15th June

This will be an interesting day out with your best friend at Hanging Rock. You will wander around the rare volcanic formation and try not to actually VANISH! This is about a 3.5 km walk, which you could do on your own or in a group. The sheer rock face is an amazing sight from so many different angles.

Then it is lunch time and you can decide to GET LOST walking to the summit. While you do this, your fur babies can get a delightful massage or you could grab a coffee and visit the museum.

The cost of this adventure will be from $10 and you can read more at their Facebook page or book at the Gourmet Pawprints page.

Doggy Winery Tour - Melba Trail
WHEN: 23rd June

You will be driven to your destination by Bella the dog welcoming bus. Bella will take you and your fur baby to the wine regions of Victoria.

This tour includes a massage for your dog and a movie with lunch. Your dog will be pampered the whole time.

The meeting place is in Port Melbourne for some essential sniffing and social time before boarding Bella. Bella is, of course, air-conditioned with both dog and human seat belts and blankets for those cold ones. Of course, dogs get first choice at the window seat!

The cost for this will be from $20 to $200 and you can book at the Gourmet Pawprints site or find out more at their Facebook page.
