Satisfy your cravings for spicy delicious Thai delights
It has been a few drinks for us between Thai dinners. My husband and I love a good Thai dinner and we found a lovely place in Capalaba last night.

Sit at Siam is located along Old Cleveland Road with plenty of parking and ease of access. It was also very close to where our son was playing football.

We were warmly greeted and shown to our seats by the friendly staff who then was quite attentive for the whole dining experience.

Friendly atmosphere

The menu is varied and boasts Modern Thai and Asian Cuisine, which caters to those who enjoy spicy or vegetarian and even quite a selection of Gluten free options.

We started with a favourite of ours - Fish Cakes (4pcs for $10). This paired well with our glass of Rose. They are not licenced but are BYO.

For mains, we shared two of the chef's specialities, Duck Aholic (loved the name) which was spicy stir-fried roasted duck sliced with fresh chilli, grounded garlic, vegetables and fresh basil for $22.

Our other dish was the Tamarind Fish with White Snapper fillet. This was a decent size fillet deep fried on a bed of steamed vegetables and crispy egg noodles with tamarind sauce. ($22)

Serving sizes were quite generous and even though delicious and very spicy to our liking, we were unable to finish them and was able to take home the leftovers to enjoy another day.

The interior was homey and very accommodating for either a romantic date night or a group of friends and family friendly.

Simple touches

They are open for dinner 7 nights a week from 4.30pm too 9pm and open for lunches from 11am to 2.30pm from Tuesday to Friday. They had some great lunch specials on the menu from $9.90 and takeaway is a popular option.

So with our Thai spicy taste buds satisfied, my husband and I were able to enjoy watching our son's football game.
